ALL 300 million in support of startups - Deadline to apply until December 30, 2024
The call for support of startup companies and startup facilitators through grants and support measures 2025 has been announced. For this support scheme, a fund of 300 million ALL has been made available, which aims to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship in Albania.
Self-declared startups in the electronic registry of startups, who are equipped with the relevant passport, benefit from grant support. Applicants can be individuals, digital nomads, private micro, small and medium companies established in Albania, not older than 6 years at the time of application.
The number of winning projects will be determined by the quality of the applications. The deadline to apply is until December 30, 2024, while the project implementation deadline for 2025 will be approximately 9 months.
The program for supporting startup companies and start-up facilitators through grants and support measures 2025 was created by the Albanian government to stimulate innovative entrepreneurship, providing financing for the most promising Albanian startup companies.
The funding provided by the Albanian government within the 2025 grant support will cover 100% of the total costs of the project for successful applicants in the first phase, 85% of the costs for successful applicants in the second phase and 75% of the costs for applicants in the third phase.
Recognizing the difficulties in securing funding for the early stage development cycle and the high cost of translating a product or service into a viable company, the program has been created to help startup companies, to enable entrepreneurs in Albania to build their innovative businesses in the country.
