December, over 1 million applications in e-Albania/ Diella responded to around 100 thousand requests. Family certificate, the most used service

The e-Albania platform has become one of the most used tools by citizens and businesses in Albania, clearly reflecting the increasing orientation towards digital services. The latest data shows that December 2025 was one of the periods with the highest usage load, both in the number of applications and in the amount of documentation generated electronically.
During this month alone, around 40 million transactions were registered on the e-Albania portal on the Government Interaction Platform, a figure that ranks December among the months with the most intense activity. In parallel, citizens and businesses have completed over 1.09 million applications for electronic services, while around 690 thousand documents equipped with an electronic seal have been generated, proving the massive use of official services without the need to physically appear at the counters.
An important role in this process has also been played by the virtual assistant Diella, which during the month of December has processed and provided over 100 thousand answers, helping users to more easily navigate the platform and access relevant services in real time. This increase in digital interaction shows not only the increase in users, but also the increase in trust in technology and electronic administration.
Regarding the most requested services, it is observed that basic civil status documents and financial certificates have dominated the requests of citizens. Family and personal certificates have been among the most used services, followed by certificates for the payment of contributions for individuals, salary certificates, as well as simple historical extracts requested by businesses. These data reflect the ongoing need for official documentation in everyday life and in economic activity.
Overall, e-Albania's performance during December 2025 confirms that the digitalization of public services is becoming a new standard for the Albanian administration, simplifying procedures, saving time, and significantly reducing bureaucracy for citizens and businesses.
