Taxes: Deadline for applications for the Fiscal Peace agreement until June 5

The Tax Administration calls on taxpayers to meet the legal requirements and apply by June 5, 2026 for the conclusion of the Fiscal Peace Agreement, a procedure that takes place online through the "e-filing" system.
According to the official announcement of the Tax Administration, "the application is open to taxpayers registered as natural persons or entities, subject to Corporate Income Tax and Personal Business Income Tax, who meet the criteria set out in the legislation."
The main conditions for benefiting from this agreement are exercising economic activity in Albania, realizing gross income over 14 million lek during the previous tax year, the absence of unpaid or undeclared tax liabilities, and not being subject to criminal proceedings or investigations in the tax field.
Taxpayers must submit the request in the "e-filing" system, in the "My Issues" section, "General Questions", by uploading the required documentation, including the application form, relevant certificates from competent institutions and self-declarations provided for by law.
The Tax Administration announces that the decision on the applications will be communicated to taxpayers electronically within five calendar days from the verification of the legal conditions, but no later than June 10, 2026.
After receiving a positive response, the legal representatives of the taxpayers must submit the signed documentation to the relevant Regional Tax Directorate or through the "e-filing" system, within five days of the communication of the decision and no later than June 15, 2026.
Meanwhile, entities that have declared that they will re-declare financial statements for previous tax years must fulfill the obligations related to the payment of taxes, the submission of corrected financial statements and accompanying documentation by June 30, 2026," the official announcement states.
The Tax Administration emphasizes that applications submitted after June 5, 2026 will not be accepted, calling on all interested taxpayers to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Fiscal Peace Agreement in accordance with Law No. 84/2025.
