National Scheme 2026: Up to 200 thousand lek support for organic farms
Farmers operating in the organic agriculture sector can apply until June 26 to receive financial support under the National Support Scheme for Agriculture 2026.
Measure 6 of the scheme is dedicated to supporting organic farms, with the aim of encouraging production according to certified standards, increasing the competitiveness of the sector and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
According to the scheme, farmers benefit from financial support depending on the certification stage. For the first year of certification, a support of 100 thousand lek is foreseen, while for the second and third years the benefit reaches 150 thousand lek.
Meanwhile, farms that have organic certification benefit from financial support of up to 200 thousand lek.
This measure aims to encourage the expansion of areas cultivated with organic methods, improving the quality of agricultural products and meeting the standards required by domestic and international markets.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development calls on interested farmers to apply within the specified deadline, until June 26, to benefit from the funds made available for the development of the agricultural sector.
Support for organic agriculture is considered one of the main instruments for promoting sustainable production, protecting the environment and increasing the added value of Albanian products on the market.
