Inclusion in vocational training programs increases - AKPA: January-March, 24%

The National Employment and Skills Agency has published statistics on vocational training for the period January-March 2026, highlighting an increase in participation in these programs.

According to data from AKPA, 2,710 individuals benefited from vocational training during this quarter, marking a 24% increase compared to the same period a year ago. This development is considered a positive indicator of the increasing interest in training and improving capacities for the labor market.

On the other hand, the results show a wide inclusion of vulnerable groups in these programs. Specifically, 1,595 beneficiaries are young people up to the age of 29, while 1,380 are women and girls who have attended professional courses. These courses aim not only to equip participants with theoretical knowledge, but above all with practical skills, which further increase the chances of long-term employment.

Likewise, 378 participants belong to the economic assistance scheme, figures that show that training programs are serving as a mechanism for the social and economic reintegration of this category.

Also, 100 members of the Roma and Egyptian communities have received vocational training, while another 50 are people with disabilities, reflecting efforts for inclusion and equality in access to vocational training.

The National Employment and Skills Agency emphasizes that the main goal remains to increase the professional skills of citizens and guarantee equal opportunities for sustainable integration into the labor market.
