The third review of the 2025 budget, here are the additions for some key institutions
The third revision of the 2025 Budget has allowed the government to allocate additional funds to several key institutions. The list of beneficiaries includes:
The Ministry of Internal Affairs benefits from around 4.6 million euros, funds that will be used for the needs of the State Police and the Republic Guard.
The Ministry of Justice receives approximately 4 million euros in additional funding for the project for the Institute for Juveniles in Conflict with the Law.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development receives around 3 million euros for municipal projects in the "Irrigation and Drainage" program, which aim to improve agricultural infrastructure and manage water resources.
The National Agency for the Information Society benefits from an additional 16 million euros for the development of computer systems, within the framework of the project with the World Bank and collaborations with the company Oracle.
The State Intelligence Service receives around 5.5 million euros for the purchase of new systems and software, aimed at improving technological and security capacities.
HIDAKKI with about 600 thousand additional euros for the project of the institution's new building. The Directorate of Government Services, with about 320 thousand euros for the reconstruction of the Government Villa in Dajt.
This is the third time this year that the government has revised the state budget for 2025 with a Normative Act. The changes made increase revenues by 121 million euros, and expenses by 57 million euros. Part of the additions is the fund available for the end-of-year bonus for pensioners.
Part of the review is also the reduction of the public debt stock. At the end of 2025, public debt is projected to reach 14 billion and 255 million euros, from 14 billion and 632 million euros, which was the initial forecast.
