Cities with shrinking populations, how is the economy developing? Kola: There is a decline in consumption and business closures, the wage gap

The concentration of the population in a few large urban areas and the shrinkage of some other cities is changing the economic model.
Invited to the Inside News show, economic expert Fatmira Kola stated that there is an economic decline in depopulated areas, due to a decline in consumption and a lack of investment.
Kola also shows that the labor market, in Tirana and other large cities, is overcrowded, while the differences in wages are large, compared to small towns or rural areas.
According to experts, the only way to curb further overpopulation remains the drafting of policies, both economic and social, as well as a different distribution of investments.
