Crime assets available to those in need - Koçiu: Money returned to children and families who have suffered from crime

15 million lek from seized criminal assets will be placed at the service of those in need. The Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets has announced a call for project financing for non-profit organizations, within the framework of the Special Fund for Crime Prevention.
The projects to be financed must address one or more priority areas, such as: social, cultural and health rehabilitation of vulnerable groups, crime prevention and reintegration of persons affected by crime, assistance and rehabilitation of victims of organized crime and trafficking, rehabilitation and treatment of drug users, protection of the rights of family members of State Police employees killed in the line of duty, as well as assistance to victims of human trafficking.
