"Pasqyra Albania"/ Rama: Citizens will receive notifications in real time - The new platform will inform about laws, decisions, services and emergencies
Prime Minister Edi Rama presented today to the parliamentary group and the government cabinet the new digital platform "Pasqyra Albania", which aims to create a single public address for information, documents, status and evidence related to the work of state institutions.
Rama emphasized that the new platform will not replace Co-Government, but will be integrated with it, while e-Albania will also be part of “Pasqyrë”. According to him, personal documents and individual communication of citizens will continue to be carried out through the respective protected channels.
One of the main innovations is the opportunity for citizens to receive real-time notifications about legal changes and decisions related to their profession or field of interest.
As an example, Rama mentioned a small entrepreneur, who can choose to receive notifications on WhatsApp whenever a new law, government decision or ordinance that affects his activity comes into force.
According to the Prime Minister, notifications will be activated only at the citizen's request. "Pasqyra Albania" will not use the data that citizens have provided while using e-Albania services to automatically send notifications.
The platform is also expected to have a role in emergency situations. Rama said that citizens in areas at risk from fires or floods should be informed in real time, without waiting for official conferences or information through the media.
"Pasqyra Albania must inform in real time every citizen who is in an area where there is a risk of fire" or flooding, declared Rama.
Another important element of the platform will be the "public card", which according to Rama will not contain political statements or propaganda, but concrete data on the work of the institutions.
The card will show what work is being done, in whose interest, which institution is responsible, where the documents are located, what the deadlines are, the status of the process, the changes made, and the evidence related to it.
According to Rama, the goal is for citizens to have a clear overview of the state's work and not be forced to seek information from various sources or wait for notifications after the completion of processes.
