OST: Continuous monitoring of the situation on the Librazhd-Korça axis, no risk to transmission lines

Regarding the situation created on the Librazhd-Korça road axis and reports on the condition of electricity transmission lines, the OST has issued an official clarification.
According to the OST, a landslide has been detected in the area around pillar no. 15 of the 110 kV Librazhd–Përrenjas line, which is a survey pillar. However, up to now, the pillar has not suffered any deformation or structural movement.
The Authority notes that the situation is being continuously monitored by relevant specialists, who are closely following developments on the ground. In parallel, the possibility of determining a new area for the installation of the pole is also being considered, should intervention be necessary.
The OST ensures that there is currently no risk to the operation of the transmission line and that every action will be taken in a timely manner, in order to guarantee the security and continuity of electricity supply.
