The Mayor of Librazhd, Mariglen Disha, is on the ground together with the Political Director of the District, Arbjan Mazniku, to closely monitor and manage the situation created as a result of the difficult weather conditions.
Currently, in the Steblevë Administrative Unit, the snow depth has exceeded 40 cm, making traffic difficult. The municipality's structures and relevant services are intensively engaged in cleaning the roads and keeping them open.
"Our teams are in all administrative units, ensuring the circulation of vehicles and the safety of all residents of the area," said the mayor.
In each administrative unit, continuous monitoring of the situation and full readiness to deal with any possible emergency continue.
"In the Polis administrative unit, we had some problems with the freezing of the road, where we took measures and threw salt in the areas where there was ice. In the Lunik administrative unit, the Road Directorate teams took measures on the curves where there were problems and threw salt there. There are no problems with the circulation of vehicles," emphasized Disha.
The political leader of the Mazniku district said that all administrative units are accessible by vehicles and there are no blockages.
Local authorities call on citizens to exercise maximum caution, cooperate with responsible structures, and avoid unnecessary movements, especially in areas affected by snowfall.
