The clock change brings social consequences - On Sunday, the clocks go back an hour, while the debate continues
Daylight saving time returns on Sunday. The change will take place in the early hours of the morning when the clocks will go back one hour, from 03:00 to 02:00.
The time change is applied in all European Union countries and in many other countries in the region, with the aim of more efficient use of natural light and saving electricity.
But, despite it seeming like a simple change, it is accompanied by numerous social and economic impacts. Sociologist Doralda Tanellari provides details on how this process affects.
But which are the categories that experience this phenomenon the most?
In recent years, there have been discussions about abolishing this seasonal change, and recently the Spanish government announced that it will propose to the European Union the cancellation of the clock change and the definitive transition to winter time, a practice that according to the authorities is considered outdated.
