As announced a week ago, the regulation for the implementation of construction works and the rules of the construction site have now been published in the Official Gazette. According to the regulation, the construction site is considered established only when the fencing, signage, cameras and information boards for the facility and the construction entity have been installed.
The National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection (IKMT) and the Agency for Territorial Development (AZHT) will also have access to the cameras to check whether the project is being implemented in accordance with the construction permit. Meanwhile, all construction site vehicles will be equipped with functional GPS, to which IKMT and AZHT will also have access.
In addition to the building permit, area and intensity, deadline for works, number of residential units and others, information boards must also contain a telephone number for contact as needed.
If the images or colors become damaged over time, the developer must replace and renew the site fencing within 1 week.
The contractor is obliged to provide skilled workers on site, protective equipment, mandatory protection through the installation of scaffolding, external exits of the facility, protection of mechanisms and equipment from electric shocks, as well as maintenance and control of machinery.
The technical manager will suspend work if protective measures for workers on the site are not guaranteed, while the works supervisor must notify the implementer of any defects noticed in the works and the time for their correction.
