Support for female heads of households and families with assistance in the Elbasan region

Children from families receiving economic assistance and mothers headed by families in the Elbasan region together during the end-of-year holidays.
The activity, organized on the occasion of the end-of-year holidays, was not only a moment of joy for children, but also a space for dialogue and information for female heads of households.
Present at this meeting, the deputy of the Elbasan district, Sara Mila, emphasized that she will be there for these families for any kind of support they need, especially to help them exit the economic assistance scheme through employment and professional training.
"We will always be there to help you. Even today, despite it being a holiday, we will have the opportunity to sit down and see all the alternatives that the labor office offers, whether for employment or for professional training. I am not just your representative in the Parliament of Albania, I am one of you. I am a mother who works hard, who tries with her example to raise an independent child, because we must learn to rely on our strength and our abilities," said MP Mila.
The Director of the Elbasan Labor Office, Ms. Marsida Hyseni, present at this meeting, provided information on all support programs and mechanisms on how these families can benefit.

"The labor office offers special programs to promote employment for mothers who have to take care of children, the elderly or other family members and who are unable to work long hours. These programs help you for at least a year, to gradually integrate into the labor market. Employment today means security tomorrow, retirement and economic independence. In addition, we offer free vocational training in our centers, adapting to the industrial and economic profile of the city of Elbasan ," stressed Hyseni.
The activity concluded with the distribution of gifts to children, bringing smiles, joy, and warmth to families in need this holiday season.
