Bonus, how much will pensioners receive at the end of the year? - Two-level scheme, 15 thousand lek bonus for pensions up to 20 thousand lek
Around 721,000 pensioners will receive bonuses at the end of the year. The government has made available a total amount of 9.7 billion lek for this purpose, while the value programmed in the initial budget was only 3.5 billion lek.
But how will the bonus scheme work this year-end and how will the approximately 97 million euros be distributed?
Government sources tell SCAN TV that the bonus will be applied in a differentiated manner. Thus, more than 511 thousand pensioners, including disability and family pensions, whose pension is up to 20 thousand lek per month, will receive a bonus of 15,000 thousand lek (150 euros). So, approximately 76 million euros will go to this category alone.
Meanwhile, the category of pensioners who receive a monthly pension of over 20 thousand lek per month will receive a bonus of 10 thousand lek (100 euros). So, about 210 thousand pensioners will receive the bonus of 10 thousand lek, and the total budget that goes to this category is about 21 million euros.
This scheme was used as a way to provide more support to those pensioners who have lower pensions.

Old-age pensions, Cooperative pensions, Social pensions, War invalids' pensions, Pensions determined by decree, Pensions determined by social security, Supplementary pensions, Pensions for families of pilots who lose their lives, Officers' pensions, Miners' pensions, Pensions for those who have worked underground, Military pensions, Academics' pensions, Pensions for persons performing constitutional functions, Disability pensions, Special pensions, Pensions for children in state care.
In December 2024, divided into two levels, pensioners also received 15 thousand and 10 thousand bonuses.
While the spring 2025 bonus was at the level of 100 euros for pensions up to 20 thousand lek and 50 euros for pensions over 20 thousand lek.
