12 active fire outbreaks in the country - MoD: 839 operational forces on the ground

The Ministry of Defense informed that during the last 24 hours, 45 fire sources have been reported, of which 12 remain active and 1 is under monitoring, and that 72 firefighting vehicles and 839 operational forces have been engaged in fire extinguishing operations. According to the announcement, 250 Armed Forces personnel, 5 helicopters and 2 Air Tractor aircraft of the Air Force have also been engaged in support of the operations. Currently, 167 Armed Forces personnel, 3 helicopters and 2 Air Tractor aircraft continue to operate in the field.
In Dajt, near the Selita water plant and above the Qafë-Molla tunnels, work continues to extinguish the fire in the pine forest. The MZSH and ADZM forces, supported by 2 Air Force helicopters, are engaged in the operation, while there is no danger to residential areas.
In Priska e Madhe, where the fire has spread towards Gurra, Farka and Lundra, the work of ground forces and air intervention continues to bring the situation under control.
In Drenie–Lofkend–Ngracije, in the Patos–Mallakastër area, the operation continues with firefighting forces and local structures, supported by 30 Armed Forces personnel and 1 AF ambulance. 3 firefighting vehicles, 15 personnel and 25 municipal forces have been deployed on the ground.
In Krujë, the fire in the Abaze neighborhood remains active and the operation is being strongly supported by the Armed Forces and air assets. 57 AF personnel, support vehicles and Air Force helicopters are engaged in the field, while the forces continue to work to protect residential areas. In Krastë and Halil, ADZM forces, municipal structures and 58 military personnel with 6 vehicles are operating; currently there is no danger to residential areas.
In Përmet, work continues on two hot spots, on Mount Nëmerçka above Biovizhda and on Mount Dhëmbel above Badilonjë. Firefighters and municipal forces are engaged in the operations, supported by 25 and 30 members of the Armed Forces, respectively. The hot spots are located in difficult mountainous terrain, but do not pose a danger to residential areas.
In Gurë-Lura, Dibër municipality, a large-scale operation from land and air is underway. The Ministry of Emergency Situations, municipal forces, State Police, forestry service, ADZM, AKMC, civil emergency structures and volunteers are engaged in the field, supported by 50 Armed Forces personnel and 2 "Air Tractor" aircraft.
In the Morava Mountains, Devoll Municipality, the work of the MZSH forces and the forest service continues in an area with pine forest, without danger to residential areas. In Mirditë, the hotbeds in Valcë–Tenë and in Trojë remain active, where in addition to local forces and volunteers, armed forces and vehicles also operate. The hotbed in Vilëz, Kurbin, after the intervention of ground forces and an AF helicopter, is under monitoring.
In Vau i Dejës, work continues to extinguish a fire in a pine forest, with the involvement of the Ministry of Environment, municipal forces and the support of a firefighting vehicle from the Armed Forces.
AKMC and all structures of the Civil Protection system continue to monitor and coordinate operations from the ground and air, with priority given to protecting the lives of citizens, homes and residential areas, as well as isolating and extinguishing active outbreaks as quickly as possible.
