Consequences of the floods, Rama: 500 million lek for compensation of citizens
In a post on social media, Prime Minister Edi Rama has published the figures of budgetary funds in response to the flooding situation of recent days. In his post, Rama writes:
The funds provided for civil protection aim to increase security in the face of natural disasters, guarantee compensation for affected citizens, and strengthen preventive measures to reduce future risks.

1.5 billion lek to finance projects to prevent natural disasters
300 million lek to finance dam and reservoir projects
1 billion lek in the form of conditional transfer
500 million lek for citizen compensation
500 million lek for investments
