Clean Energy Grant in Kosovo - Luxembourg finances 1 million euros. Agreement signed
The Luxembourg government will finance a 1 million euro grant for clean energy in Kosovo. The agreement signed the day before is part of the "Energy Transition and Climate Mitigation in Kosovo" project, which is currently being implemented.
According to Artane Rizvanolli, Acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, the Clean Energy Grant Scheme is providing businesses with concrete support to reduce energy costs, increase competition and better prepare for the liberalized market. Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises will benefit from this scheme, with a focus on enterprises most affected by the liberalization of the energy market.
Through this scheme, businesses will be supported in energy efficiency through investments in building insulation, photovoltaic systems for electricity production, solar thermal systems for water heating, etc.
Meanwhile, the Clean Energy Grants scheme will offer up to 20,000 euros for a single measure, and up to 25,000 euros for combined measures. In addition to financing, the scheme will also provide capacity building and technical assistance to beneficiaries, ensuring that investments are sustainable and long-term.
